More details are coming to light in the case of an integrity commission investigation into a former Ward Six councillor.

Former mayor Randy Hope reportedly filed a complaint about former councillor Derek Robertson back in November, accusing him of bias when it came to a personal friend’s business dealings with municipality.

Robertson is now going public, saying it’s actually the integrity commissioner who is working on a bias, having filed an initial report into the accusations without hearing his side of things.

Robertson and his lawyer were finally granted a meeting with Commissioner Paul Watson yesterday, but says he believes the report has already been – quote – “well baked.”
