Changes are coming to the Dresden Night Market.
In a post on social media, organizers say they are bidding farewell to the summer market and will be focusing their time and energy on growing the annual Christmas market.
The Christmas market was launched in 2017, followed by the summer night market the next year, drawing thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors to Dresden’s downtown core.
The group of friends and volunteers who spearheaded the markets are urging residents to visit www.dresden.ca or Visit Chatham-Kent for a list of other summer events.
Plans are also ready in the works for this year’s Christmas market, set to take place in November in partnership with Dresden Shines.
