A Wallaceburg restaurant is once again stepping up to help those in need.
Mark Childs, owner of the Black Goose Grill, says after hearing the James Street Ministry wasn’t able to hold its community meals because of COVID issues, he and his team are filling the void.
With donations from the James Street Ministry and Target Oilfield and Industrial Services, the Black Goose will be holding a community meal on Saturday, January 30th and Saturday, February 13th.
“We are anticipating around 250 – 300 meals. If you know an isolated senior or someone in need, that would enjoy this meal, you may pick one up on their behalf,” Childs says.
The free meals will be available by pick-up only from 1-3pm each day.
