The Dresden Kings rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the third period but ultimately dropped a 4-3 OT decision to Essex. The 73s lead that series 2-0
The Blenheim Blades meantime squandered a 5-0 second period lead and fell 6-5 in OT to Amherstburg. The Admirals also lead that series 2-0.
The Blades and Admirals are back at it Sunday in Amherstburg. Dresden and Essex are idle until Tuesday.
