Applications are now open for an affordable housing complex in Blenheim, which will be move-in ready early next year.
The First Family Community Housing Build at 36 McGeorge St. is now in the final stages of construction and expected is to be ready for occupancy by February 2025.
The three-storey building will offer nine three-bedroom units, six accessible three-bedroom units, and two four-bedroom units. Residents of the building will also have access to patios or balconies, parking, and pay-per-use laundry facilities.

To be eligible for a three-bedroom unit, families must have two or more children and an annual income of $52,500 or less, or $61,000 or less for a four-bedroom unit.
