An Essex County man has been arrested in connection with repeated break-ins in Blenheim.
Chatham-Kent Police officers responded to a Four Rod Road property last Friday. Further investigation showed that someone had forced their way into an abandoned building three times last March, removing copper wire and metal piping from the basement.
Investigators were able to identify a suspect and say the accused was also subject to an ankle monitoring condition.
The 46-year-old Kingsville man was arrested by provincial police on Friday morning in connection to another break and enter in Essex County.
He was transferred to Chatham-Kent Police custody and is now charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. He was released with a date in court later this month.
