Changes are coming to the Blenheim branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
The library will be shut down starting Tuesday, October 28 and reopening on Wednesday, November 12 while the building gets a fresh coat of interior paint. Officials say the work will help create a brighter, more welcoming space for everyone.
A temporary Library Depot will be available down the hall from the main entrance to allow for pick-up holds; browsing a small collection of books, DVDs, magazines, and video games; and making use of photocopying services. However, over the course of the closure, public computers and seating will not be available.
A drop box will be located on George Street for returns.
