A Blenheim man is facing more charges after being arrested for the second time in just over three months.

The accused was initially charged with possessing of property obtained by crime back in March when he was found in a stolen vehicle, stuck in the mud in a rural area near Chatham.

The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner and the 43-year-old accused was released from custody with a date in court at the end of April. However, he failed to appear before the judge, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Chatham-Kent Police came across the accused again on Wednesday evening after conducting a routine traffic stop. The man was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

He was released from custody once again and is expected to appear in court next month.
