Chatham-Kent Police had to use pepper spray and a taser as they tried to subdue a suspect over the weekend.
Police were initially called to a Blenheim home early Saturday morning when the accused began damaging his ex-girlfriend’s property.
Once police arrived, the man is said to have threatened officers with a rock – he was doused with pepper spray and then fled on foot.
The 20-year-old was eventually stopped with what police describe as a “CEW” or conducted electrical weapon, suffering minor injuries, and was taken into custody.
