Construction is ramping up on a section of Bloomfield Road in Chatham. 
Starting today, the stretch between Richmond and Riverview will be fully closed for the next few months.
It’s part of a $5-million reconstruction project that will see the creation of a multi-use trail, new sewers, and improved lighting, along with repaving the road itself.
It’s expected the road will reopen by November 30th.
