The Lambton-Kent District School board is taking a unique approach to cost cutting.
Instead of closing schools this year the board is closing classrooms.
At Ridgetown District High School, Lambton Kent Composite School, and Blenheim District High School is set to fall to less than 40% capacity over the next three years. And to deal with it, the board is closing nearly 40 classrooms.
Despite the change consolidation is still very much on the table for the future.
