A few dozen residents on the south side of Chatham are under a boil water advisory.

The order was issued on Monday after a water line in Southside Estates was broken.

A notice from Public Health says the order will remain in place until good results come back from two consecutive sets of water staples, taken at least 24 hours apart.

Until then, residents in the mobile home community are asked to bring any water for domestic purposes to a rolling boil for at least one minute, that includes drinking, making baby formula and juice, brushing teeth, and making ice.
