A boil-water advisory issued earlier this week for residents in Mitchell’s Bay, Grande Pointe, and Bass Haven is no longer in effect.

After receiving satisfactory test results from water samples taken on March 10 and 11, Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Shanker Nesathurai has rescinded the advisory

Chatham-Kent Public Health first issued the boil water advisory on March 10 following a loss of pressure in the water distribution system.

Those with any questions or concerns are encouraged to contact CK Public Health at 519-352-7270.
