More drugs have been seized at a nearby border crossing.

Officials with the Canada Border Services Agency have released details of a bust at Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward on February 19.

Authorities say a commercial truck arriving from the United States was referred for secondary inspection, during which border services officers uncovered 111.4 kilograms of suspected cocaine.

A 25-year-old from Belleville and 29-year-old Nova Scotia resident were arrested and transferred to RCMP custody.

The pair have since been charged with importation of cocaine, and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
