Hundreds of dollars have been raised to support families in need in the Chatham-Kent community.

Boston Pizza in Chatham hosted a fundraising event on February 25, with 10 per cent of the entire day’s sales being donated to the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent.

The event raised a total of $1,300.

According to the Kiwanis Club, the funds raised will play a crucial role in providing educational resources, organizing community events, and assisting families in need.

“Boston Pizza’s contribution will directly impact the lives of those we serve, creating a positive and lasting difference in our community,” the Kiwanis Club said in a news release.

Boston Pizza has also donated several restaurant gift cards to be given out as prizes during the club’s Euchre Tournament, taking place at Turns and Tales on King Street West in Chatham on Saturday.
