Bothwell Bank Robbery

Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery in Bothwell.

Authorities say a masked man entered the Bank of Montreal on Main Street shortly before 3 yesterday afternoon with what appeared to be a firearm hidden in his sleeve.

The man demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a scruffy white man, approximately 6’2” tall with a slim build, wearing a navy blue Hollister hoodie, gray sweatpants, sunglasses, white running shoes and black and yellow motorcycle gloves.
