Bowling Fundraiser To Support Victims Of Crime

Businesses, organizations, and community members are being encouraged to help support victims of crime and trauma through a local fundraiser.

Chatham-Kent Victim Services will host its inaugural Bowling Thunder fundraiser at Chatham Bowlerama on February 5.

Registration is now open for teams of five members for $500. Organizations and businesses can also sponsor a lane for $250.

A silent auction will also be held during the bowling event, with prizes donated by various partners and supporters.

All money raised will go to Chatham-Kent Victim Services, which provides short-term emotional support, crisis intervention, practical assistance, and community referrals to those impacted by crime, tragedy, and traumatic situations.

The Bowling Thunder fundraiser will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m.

Those interested in signing up, sponsoring, or donating a silent auction item are asked to email. [email protected].
