An annual lunch program is returning to Chatham-Kent in support of people with diverse abilities.

Community Living Wallaceburg is partnering with Foodland Dresden and The Black Goose Grill for this year’s annual Box Lunch fundraiser.

Through the fundraiser, anyone in Chatham-Kent can order a lunch to be delivered right to their door on April 18.

Each lunch is $15 and includes a classic Black Goose Grill wrap, a bag of plain potato chips, a bottle of water, an apple and a cookie, which will all be served in a reusable thermal lunch bag.

Community Living hopes to achieve the goal of selling 2,000 lunches this year.

“The Annual Box Luncheon is a remarkable experience to be a part of,” said Executive Director Roger Romses in a news release. “The event brings together local businesses, volunteers and persons supported by our agency, demonstrating an inclusive community.”

All funds raised through the lunch event will be used to enhance the supports provided by Community Living Wallaceburg, helping persons with diverse abilities

All lunches must be ordered online between March 20 and April 10 at clwboxlunch.com.
