An annual lunch program is returning in support of those with diverse abilities.
Community Living Wallaceburg is partnering with the Black Goose Grill for this year’s annual Box Lunch fundraiser.
Now through April 2, anyone in Chatham-Kent can order a lunch to be delivered to their door on April 16.
Each lunch is $15 and includes a classic Black Goose wrap, Chicken Caesar or turkey club, or a gluten-friendly summer salad; a bag of plain potato chips; bottle of water; an apple; and a cookie, all be served in a reusable thermal lunch bag.
Volunteer drivers will deliver to Wallaceburg, Dresden, Chatham, and surrounding areas. Lunches are also available for pick-up at the UAW hall in Wallaceburg.
Community Living hopes to sell 1500 lunches this year.
Proceeds will be used to support the purchase of a new, fully accessible van, allowing the people CLW serves to attend appointments, become involved in the community, and live their fullest life.
