The long arm of the law caught up with a lead foot on the 401.
Chatham-Kent OPP say a Brampton woman was caught going more than 170 kilometres an hour on the 401 eastbound last night.
After pulling over the driver near Communication Road, authorities suspected the woman behind the wheel had been drinking.
The 28-year-old was taken to the detachment for tests and charged with impaired driving and stunt driving. Her license has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for two weeks.
She’ll have to make her way back to Chatham-Kent for a date in court next month.
