Two men are facing charges following a break-and-enter in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a report of a break-in at a vacant home on Stanley Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, the officers found signs of forced entry and a suspect was spotted through a rear window.
Police contained the residence and arrested two men who were allegedly in possession of 7 grams of methamphetamine.
As a result, a 38-year-old Blenheim man and a 46-year-old Chatham man have both been charged with break-and-enter with intent and possession of a Schedule 1 substance.
The accused were held in custody for a bail hearing.
