Charges have been laid against a Chatham man, accused of forcing his way into a building under construction.
Shortly after 6 o’clock Monday evening, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a Sandys Street property in Chatham and say a male suspect had gained entry to the site.
Officers searched the building and found the accused hiding inside.
The 35-year-old of no fixed address has since been charged with break and enter with intent to commit. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
