A local woman is facing charges after trying to force her way into an apartment building in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent Police claim the woman put a ladder at the side of a multi-unit building on Murray Street Thursday morning and tried to get into a vacant unit, then made her way into an apartment on the floor below.
Officers found the woman inside the building carrying suspected fentanyl.
The 25-year-old is charged with break and enter, and possession of a controlled substance.
She was released with a date in court next month.
