Thieves have been busy the last week or so across Chatham-Kent.
Police say thieves cut through a fence at a Richmond Street compound not once, but twice, and stole copper wire and a golf cart.
Meantime, $400 in fuel was stolen from a barn on Elbow Line in Wallaceburg. Authorities say the suspects plowed through the barn door with their vehicle.
And a snowmobile was stolen after someone forced their way into a fenced compound on Gillard Street, also in Wallaceburg over the holidays.
