Police are investigating a pair of Christmas Eve break-ins in Chatham-Kent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said in the early morning of December 24, someone used a rock to smash the rear bay door of a business on Richmond Street in Chatham. Once inside, the thief made off with around $4,000 worth of electronics and numerous keys.
Also on the 24th, police say someone broke into a storage unit at a business on Allison Line in Blenheim. While it is unknown if any property was stolen, the total value of the damage is estimated at around $3,000.
