With WAMBO less than two weeks away, crews are working hard to make sure the Lord Selkirk Bridge will be passable – at least for some. 
Manager of Infrastructure Services, Chris Thibert says work on the span is coming along well.
“We are in conversation right now with the contractor to ensure operations are running smoothly through WAMBO,” Thibert says. “There’s going to be someone on-site full time to operate the bridge and make sure that pedestrians and boats can access in and around the bridge.”
Once WAMBO is over, crews will get back to work.
Construction is expected to be done and the bridge fully reopened by the end of October.
