When you steal a car, you don’t ever expect it to break down, but that’s what happened on the 401.
Five people are facing charges after the car they stole broke down around midday on March 21st.
According to Chatham-Kent OPP an officer stopped to offer assistance to the driver, only to discover the vehicle had been reported stolen overnight.
The occupants of the vehicle, three women between the ages of 18 and 57 and two men aged 19 and 50 were arrested and are facing drug, and possession of stolen property charges.
The group were from the London area.
