Dave Brubaker has been found not guilty on charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
A former athlete of the Canadian Olympic women’s gymnastics coach brought the charges against him, alleging the incidents took place between 2000 and 2007.
The decision was handed down in a Sarnia court room today.
In her ruling, the Justice found problems with the investigation including the relationship between the complainant and the lead officer.
Gymnastics Canada will handle its own internal probe of the incident.
