The Chatham-Kent OPP are going to be keeping an eye on motorists this weekend.
Chatham-Kent provincial police are joining officers from across the province in a seat belt safety blitz on OPP patrolled road ways.
According to provincial stats, 45 people died in 2016 due to not wearing or improperly wearing their seat belts in a crash.
Police will be conducting their campaign starting Friday and wrapping up Monday.
