Not the best way to mark National Teen Driver Safety Week.
Earlier this week, an officer spotted a pickup truck driving along Jane Street in Ridgetown with two teens riding in the bed, one of them standing.
All four occupants – the 20-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger, as well as the two teens in the back – are facing charges for not wearing seatbelts.
The driver has also been charge for failing to hand over her license and insurance.
Authorities remind everyone that the odds of surviving a crash are far better if you’re properly buckled up.
