Chatham-Kent Transit will continue to operate despite increaseing covid-19 responses from the federal and provincial government.
Conventional, accessible and inter-urban transit will run on the regular schedule, including the new CKTransit On-Request evening service which began yesterday.
That will continue until Dr. David Colby, Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health gives direction otherwise.
The CKTransit service providers have increased their sanitization measures and protocols effective immediately.
Officials say if you are ill or experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath avoid using public transit if at all possible.
