A Chatham township family is adding their voice to the growing chorus of area residents who say construction associated with wind turbines has ruined their water supply.

Well water from the Pumfrey property on Bush Line, submitted by Water Wells First.

The Pumfrey family lives on Bush Line, and say their well water turned cloudy following the construction of a meteorological control tower for the North Kent Wind 1 project last spring.

Following a complaint to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in June, an investigator spoke to the Pumfreys and several other families in the area.

The family, which includes three young children, has been relying on a water tank in their driveway for the last eight months.

CKXS News has reached out to North Kent Wind for their comments, but has not yet received a response.
