Day three of the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce annual awards is in the books with two more honours.
Wallaceburg Jersey Dairy has been named Business of the Year. The local dairy distribution centre has been operating since 1946, currently owned by Jeff and Stacey Rosseel. The company has 14 employees who consider themselves a workplace family, taking pride in delivering their dairy products with exceptional customer service.
Entrepreneur of the Year honours go to Barbara McCaughrin, a licensed real estate broker with Riversite Realty, and also a director with the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors’ board. McCaughrin is also the founder of the new Wallaceburg Women’s Networking Group, aiming to provide like-minded women an opportunity to learn and grow from each other.
The Business and Community Excellence Awards wrap up tomorrow morning with the Wallaceburg BIA Award and Chip Gordon Citizen of the Year announced live on-air at 99.1 starting just after 8:30.
