On the heels of last year’s successful inaugural event, the Tart and Soul Butter Tart Festival is returning to Chatham.

The festival kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the backyard event space at Sons of Kent Brewery, bringing together food makers, artisans, and butter tart lovers.

Professional butter tart bakers from communities across Ontario will once again compete for the coveted People’s Choice Award, while attendees shop at vendor booths and enjoy live music.

With organizers expecting a strong turnout, tart enthusiasts are encouraged to arrive early to secure their favourite flavours.

The festival runs until 3 p.m., and admission is completely free.
