North Buxton will be booming this weekend for the 93rd annual Homecoming celebration.
What started in 1924 as a one-day reunion for former slaves who came to Canada as part of the Underground Railroad has evolved into a full weekend celebration.
A number of events will be held over the next few days, including the Family Feud baseball tournament, Party in the Park tonight, and a parade on Monday.
Buxton Park will also be filled with activities on Monday – the Pride In R Rides car show, craft vendors, and rides for the kids.
