The $70 MILLION Lotto Max ticket sold in Chatham-Kent has not yet been validated.
Dita Kuhtey of OLG tells 99.1 the winning ticket has not yet been checked at a lottery terminal.
“The ticket holder may have checked the ticket on the self-checker or on the Lottery App or by matching the numbers on their ticket to the winning numbers but we don’t know that,” says Dita. “So the ticket holder may know that they hold a winning ticket but we don’t know if they know as we are only alerted if the winning ticket is checked at a lottery terminal.”
Tickets can be validated at any retailer or place of purchase.
A single winning $70 MILLION Lotto Max Jackpot ticket was sold in Chatham-Kent from the Tuesday, April 14th draw.
This is the biggest jackpot ever claimed in Chatham-Kent and the third time the maximum jackpot has been won in Canada.
