A Ward 5 candidate is expressing concerns about infrastructure in Wallaceburg.
Nick Cadotte says some Wallaceburg roads are being replaced with materials like gravel, that are more typically seen in rural settings. He says it’s more than just roads, though.
“There’s a lot of infrastructure that seems to be neglected throughout the municipality, not just Wallaceburg, curbs around town are crumbling, everywhere you go there’s potholes,” Cadotte says. “We need to hold (the municipality) accountable for the money that they spend, and I think this year that’s why there are so many candidates running because they’re fed up.”
Cadotte is encouraging all mayoral candidates to visit the rural areas and to what issues the residents are facing.
