A Ward 5 candidate is hoping to spark some conversation across the Municipality.
Nick Cadotte is organizing a free breakfast tomorrow morning, and has invited all candidates, both for council and the Mayor’s seat, as well as the public to learn more about Wallaceburg.
“It’s at 9:00 in the morning at The Stubby Goat on Nelson Street in downtown Wallaceburg. There will be a free pancake breakfast. We want the community [to come]. We’ll have some community partners and all the candidates who RSVP’d will be there to just introduce themselves and get to know each other outside of a debate,” says Cadotte.
Cadotte says the event isn’t a campaign launch party, but rather an opportunity for candidates to come together and learn about each other’s communities.
“I just wanted to get people to come to Wallaceburg. Quite often, we don’t see a lot of the other candidates – no fault of their own, Chatham-Kent is a big municipality – but I want them to come [to this breakfast] to engage in some conversation,” Cadotte says.
