A special camp is being offered for pre-teens who have an interest in emergency services.
Camp Sirens is now accepting applications from local 12 and 13 year olds who’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a police officer, fire fighter, or paramedic.
The camp runs July 29th to August 2nd and will include an in-depth look at the work done by first responders, including tours of police, fire, and EMS headquarters, presentations from the K9 unit, and traffic services, and a lesson on crime scene management.
The deadline for applications is June 21st. You can find the application on the Chatham-Kent Police website.
