A slew of activities are being held around Chatham-Kent this weekend to mark Canada’s sesquicentennial.
From fireworks in Chatham and Tilbury tonight to family-friendly events in Wallaceburg, Ridgetown, and Dresden tomorrow, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate the country’s 150th birthday.
Every community in Chatham-Kent is hosting some sort of celebration over the next few days, Ridgetown kicked everything off last night with family fun and fireworks.
Dresden Raceway will be hosting its Canada Day races tomorrow, North Buxton’s “A Day in the Settlement” gets underway at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, and Erieau’s festivities kick off in Laverne Kelly Memorial Park at 5.
