The Chatham-Kent YMCA is on the receiving end of a donation from Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities.
Thirty lifejackets have been provided to help toddlers and other young children learn to swim.
Officials at the Y say the lifejackets will be used for a number of programs, including swimming lessons and camps, which are offered year-round.
Last year, the Jumpstart Charities helped donated almost $106,000 dollars to its Chatham-Kent chapter.
