Candidates running in the municipal election will be putting their game faces on tonight with a meet and greet in Chatham.

Those vying for a spot on council in all six wards plus the three mayoral candidates will be at the Portuguese Canadian Social Club in Chatham tonight to discuss rural issues.

Organizers say candidates will be set up by ward around the hall with staggered introductions through the evening.

The event runs from 6 until 10, and is organized by the Kent Federation of Agriculture, Grain Farmers of Ontario District 2, and the Essex-Kent chapter of the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario.
