Local law enforcers are reminding residents to lock their car doors.
Police say sometime early this weekend, someone stole $500 worth of items from a car parked on Hickory Oak Lane in Wheatley.
While police look for more information on this theft, they say to remove your garage door opener from your car if you’re parking in your driveway, so thieves can’t gain access into your home through an unlocked car.
