A collision that sent one person to hospital has resulted in a careless driving charge.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the crash on Saturday shortly before 6 p.m. after a vehicle left the road and struck a tree on Longwoods Road in Camden Township.
The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A 17-year-old passenger was assessed by paramedics at the scene, but did not need additional medical attention.
Following an investigation, the driver was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for careless driving.
