A single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Chatham has sent one person to hospital.
The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes of the highway at Communications Road at around 9 a.m. on Monday, after a pick-up truck left the roadway.
The driver, a 61-year-old from the Township of Rideau Lakes, was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver has also been charged with careless driving as a result of the crash.
