More details are coming to light regarding the new Cascades Casino
The $36 million build includes a restaurant, 300 slots, and nearly a dozen gaming tables, creating up to 200 new jobs.
Tony Santo, CEO of Gateway says the location has meaning in the community.
“It had to do with the development plan that the mayor had in mind, it’s close to the convention centre and hotel which is a good fit for us,” says Santo “And its past reputation of this corner being a busy corner and an entertainment area, we just felt it fit in really well.”
The build is expected to start shortly, and be completed in about a year.
