The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is officially delaying the start of this year’s camping season.
All overnight camping reservations at the A.W. Campbell, Lorne C. Henderson and Warwick Conservation Areas from April 24th to May 13th have been cancelled.
Full refunds will be issued automatically. Refunds should be received within 7 to 10 business days.
The SCRCA says the decision comes based on recommendations from local, provincial and federal health authorities.
The opening of the camping season will be determined based on the guidance of health officials.
The trail systems at all SCRCA conservation areas remain open to the public. Visitors must abide by social distancing practices and not travel or meet up with others. Trail maintenance may be limited, gates are locked, and washroom facilities, play structures, and picnic areas are closed.
