Catholic High School Students Getting a Glimpse of Space

Students at Ursuline College in Chatham and St. Pat’s in Sarnia will be treated to an out of this world experience today.

They will be linked in to watch Brother Guy Consolmagno, the Executive Director at the Vatican Observatory for a special science lesson. He is a planetary scientist whose field of expertise is asteroids and meteorites.

Classes from all grade levels and subjects have been invited to attend the session that will run from 1-2 PM.

The Vatican Observatory is one of the oldest Astronomical institutes in the world dating back to 1582.
