On the heels of a one-day strike by public school teachers, Ontario’s catholic teachers will soon be in a legal strike position themselves.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association says it received a “no board” report today, which starts a 17-day countdown to a legal strike position.
The head of the union says while there are no plans for strike action at this point, the move should serve as a wakeup call for the Ford government.
