
Two local men are facing charges after police responded to a break-and-enter in progress in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a residence on Baxter Street shortly before 8 p.m. on Tuesday regarding the break-in.
When police arrived, they checked the entry and exit points and found indications that someone had broken in. Two men were then located inside and arrested.
A 41-year-old from Chatham-Kent and a 38-year-old from Chatham have both been charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence. The pair were held in custody for a bail hearing.
